Legal Counsel, Advocates, and Elected Officials

Illinois law enforcement agencies do not have legal authority to authorize, facilitate, or coordinate access to federal facilities.  Access is controlled solely by ICE.  Attorneys, advocacy organizations, clergy, and elected officials must reach out to ICE through official federal channels for access.
