Medical, Property, and Welfare Concerns

On occasion, members of the public have attempted to provide items (e.g., medication) to individuals in custody at the Broadview facility.  In these circumstances, Illinois law enforcement has tried to assist with the delivery of these items by attempting to communicate with ICE officials, but ICE personnel will determine items they will accept.  Please note that Illinois law enforcement agencies will not take custody of medications or personal property.

If you have concerns about the welfare of individuals in custody at the Broadview facility, including medical or family issues, your must attempt to contact ICE through federal channels.

All emergencies or situations requiring immediate response should be reported by calling 911.
